Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) offers a variety of vocational rehabilitation services to people with disabilities to prepare for, get, and keep employment. Contact an Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) office in your area to learn more about the eligibility requirements and services OOD offers.

Visit a local OhioMeansJobs Center to search for a job or get information on services offered, including career and skills assessment, resume and application assistance, and job referrals.

You can apply for SSI or SSDI:

For help with your application, visit or call your local County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS) office or call the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline at 1-800-324-8680 or 1-800-292-3572 (TTY). Note: If you get Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, you automatically get Medicaid coverage and do not need to apply separately.
